What would I choose?
If you’re a solo male traveler looking for a place to sleep and take a bath in Shinbashi, I’d include this capsule hotel in the comparison. The bath and relaxation area offer more than just a bed; however, it’s still a capsule accommodation shared with other travelers.
The most important thing to know is that even if you’re staying overnight, you must check out by 10:00 AM. If you want to sleep in during the morning and rest during the day, this arrangement will have a greater impact on your itinerary than how close it is to the station.
What attracts me, and what I need to think about before ordering.
What attracts me
- The area within walking distance of Xinqiao Wusenkou is suitable for a single person to stay overnight.
- It has a bathing area and rest space, which is especially useful for people who enjoy taking baths.
- Guests can enjoy complimentary bread and coffee during the morning service.
I will keep an eye on it.
- For men only; capsules and shared bathrooms are different from private rooms.
- Even if you stay overnight, you must check out by 10:00 every day, as it is not suitable to stay in the hotel during the day.
- Some guests mentioned that the cabin was too hot, noisy, and the wait for the elevator; light sleepers should take this into consideration.
Location and Transportation: Plan your route in advance if you have luggage.
The official transportation page lists it as about 3 minutes from the JR Shinbashi-Uraseri Exit: Walk straight along Uraseri-dori, and look for the entrance on the right side of the Shinbashi-sanchome-to-Banmae intersection, in front of Isomaru Suisan. The homepage adds another 2 minutes, but I’ll consider this as a nearby accommodation, still allowing some time for finding the entrance and taking the elevator.
JR platforms have elevators that take you to the 1st floor ticket gate, with connections to Urmori and Shiodome on the south side; the Yokosuka Line underground platforms have another set of elevators. The Ginza Line also has a dedicated ground-level elevator; don’t mistake the exit at stair 6 for the elevator. For connections to hotels outside the station that require no stairs, please inquire with the hotel beforehand.
Surrounding Itinerary: How would I plan my trip while staying here?
Staying in Shinbashi, I can choose dinner around the station and then head to Ginza, Shiodome, or take a bus to other neighborhoods during the day. When staying only one night, I avoid scheduling my return to the hotel too late, leaving some time for a bath and ensuring I’m not in a rush when leaving the next day.
Room type and space: Think about the bed and travel companions together.
The capsules are located on floors 6 through 9 and are equipped with a France Bed mattress, TV, power outlets, USB ports, and adjustable lighting. Access to the upper and lower floors differs; those with knee problems or who dislike climbing ladders can inquire about lower-floor beds first.
Showering, unpacking, and resting outside of your assigned bed require using the shared space. When bringing a large suitcase, ask about the available storage size and access method; don’t expect to be able to simply lay your large suitcase down next to the capsule.

How should breakfast be arranged?
Guests can enjoy complimentary bread and coffee at the morning service in the 5th-floor lounge. This is a simple way to replenish energy; if you prefer a full breakfast, you can plan your meal times in advance and ask about the available times upon arrival.

Things I’ll pay attention to when staying one night versus staying consecutively.
Check-in is at 3:00 PM and check-out is at 10:00 AM. Even if you stay overnight, you must leave by 10:00 AM. This is more convenient for people who are only staying for one or two nights and are going out during the day anyway. However, people who want to relax in Tokyo for a few days should carefully consider whether this schedule is comfortable for them.
Some guests appreciate cleanliness, baths, and service, while others are concerned about cabin temperature or soundproofing. Those who are sensitive to heat or are light sleepers should state their needs in advance and be prepared to accept shared environments; it’s also helpful to ask about the rules for storing large luggage beforehand, as this will make things easier than dealing with it on the spot.
