Park Hotel Tokyo: Artist Rooms, Tokyo Tower Views and Shiodome Access

Park Hotel Tokyo is a hotel to consider when art and time spent inside the property are part of your Tokyo plans. Some rooms have murals, and public spaces open onto the skyline. Decide whether you most want a particular artwork or Tokyo Tower: these are not interchangeable room promises.

What makes it worth choosing

The draw is staying somewhere with individual artistic character, particularly in the Artist Rooms, which feature different mural themes. Shiodome is convenient for Ginza, Tsukiji and onward connections toward Odaiba.

The trade-offs are that Artist Room and Tower View are separate choices, some guests notice railway noise, and standard rooms are smaller than suites. Make sure you are booking Park Hotel Tokyo at Shiodome Media Tower, with reception on the 25th floor, not the similarly named hotel nearby.

Shiodome and luggage access

The Oedo Line’s Shiodome Station is about a one-minute walk according to the source. The Yurikamome station connects to the building, and Shimbashi Station is around seven minutes away. On JR, compare the direct walk from Shimbashi with the extra transfer to Shiodome.

When carrying luggage, elevators can be found near exits 7 to 10 at Shiodome; exit 7 itself involves stairs. The elevated Yurikamome platforms have a different circulation route from the subway. Ask for the step-free path from the exit elevator to the entrance if needed.

Nearby itinerary

I would spend daytime in Ginza or Tsukiji, take the Yurikamome toward Odaiba for waterfront scenery, and find dinner around Shimbashi. If the skyline view is part of the reason for staying, leave time to enjoy the hotel rather than returning only at midnight.

Beds, room sizes and artwork

The 26 m² Corner Twin has two 110×195 cm beds. The 33 m² Deluxe King has one 200×210 cm king bed, while the Deluxe Twin has two 110×195 cm beds in a Hollywood arrangement that cannot be separated.

The Park Suite is 80 m² with a 240×195 cm bed. These specifications matter when comparing couples, friends and groups with luggage. Art murals vary by room, so ask about the option to choose a particular theme rather than treating one gallery image as the design of every Artist Room.

Tower views should likewise be reserved by an explicitly named view category. The art, bed arrangement and scenery are three separate dimensions of the choice.

Breakfast at Art Colours Dining

Breakfast is served at Art Colours Dining on the 25th floor, listed for 07:00–10:30 with last order at 10:00. Guests choose an egg dish or vegan main plate alongside self-service accompaniments.

The original source lists an adult reference price of ¥4,500 until the end of 2026 and ¥5,000 starting January 1, 2027, including tax and service. Some guests like the eggs and semi-buffet arrangement, while others find the selection ordinary. Travelers leaving early or planning to eat at Tsukiji may prefer a room-only booking.

Staying one night or several

For one night I would choose the mural or explicitly booked view I most want and make time to see the artworks around the building. For a longer stay, I would compare bed placement, luggage space and how much noise I can tolerate.

Some rooms show signs of age, and guest experiences with quietness differ. If you are sensitive to railway noise, request a quiet room beforehand. An upgraded artistic room is not necessarily worth the difference if you will spend very little time at the hotel.

Advantages and trade-offs

The advantages are a distinctive artistic stay, Shiodome access, skyline-facing public spaces and a sit-down breakfast with a main dish. The key trade-offs are choosing a view separately from an art theme, room-size differences and possible train noise.
