CREAL premier Akasaka: Apartment Units, Beds, Kitchen and Self Check-in
CREAL premier Akasaka can work well for two families or a group of friends who want to stay together in Tokyo. Check the exact unit number before booking: size, floor, daylight and bedding change between apartments.

How I would choose
For a group, I would start with the unit number and a sleeping plan rather than the headline guest capacity. The larger apartments offer a shared kitchen, dining table and living area: useful if the group wants to eat or relax together after exploring Tokyo.
Units 201, 302 and 102 have different layouts. Unit 102 is partly below ground level, so I would not book it expecting the daylight shown in a bright living-room photograph. Self check-in also deserves attention: save the door instructions and contact details before arrival.
Advantages and trade-offs
The upside is generous shared space, cooking facilities and a location convenient for Akasaka restaurants and transit. It can feel more practical than booking several separate small hotel rooms.
The trade-offs are unit-specific natural light, floor location and bed arrangements. A maximum occupancy of ten does not mean ten separate beds. If anyone needs their own bed or has trouble with stairs, work out the arrangement in advance.
Location and luggage
The operator lists approximately five minutes on foot from Akasaka Station and eight minutes from Akasaka-mitsuke Station. The address is Akasaka 4-12-8, Minato City, Tokyo; share the exact address with everyone in your party.
At Akasaka Station, the 3a exit has an elevator toward the Hitotsugi-dori side. A route using exit 1 or 7 should not automatically be treated as step-free. If anyone needs a completely step-free route, ask the operator about the stretch between the station elevator and your apartment entrance.
I would leave dinner plans flexible and choose a restaurant in Akasaka on the way home. For a longer visit, one early evening back at the apartment makes the living and dining areas worth using.

Units, beds and room photographs
According to the operator, unit 201 is 90.52 m², unit 302 is 90.22 m² and unit 102 is 102.4 m². The listed capacity is up to ten people, with four double beds and two sets of futon bedding. Agree beforehand who takes the double beds and who will use the futons.
The photographs below show shared areas and bedroom, bathroom and laundry features from the accommodation gallery. They are helpful visual references, not a guarantee that every item appears in every unit. Compare the photographs and equipment list against the specific unit number in your booking.

Breakfast and daily routine
I would plan breakfast as I would in a serviced apartment: buy groceries the evening before or choose a café in Akasaka. A kitchen does not mean that breakfast is included. Check the meal conditions on the reservation itself.
One night or several nights?
For a one-night stay, have the self check-in and door-opening instructions ready before reaching the property. Guests have previously reported difficulty following the access instructions; confirming details beforehand is especially helpful when arriving with a large group.
For several nights, the kitchen and washing machine become more valuable. Ask how cleaning, fresh towels and rubbish collection work. Listed check-in is 16:00 and check-out is 10:00, so plan luggage storage or transfers accordingly.
My conclusion
CREAL premier Akasaka is best considered as a specific apartment unit for a group, not as a conventional hotel room. Choose your exact unit, assign beds, confirm access and enjoy the ability to spend time together around the dining table.
