What would I choose?

If a woman is traveling alone in Tokyo and looking for a capsule hotel between Shinbashi and Shiodome that has a public bath, amenities, and a rest area, I would include this one in my comparison. The public rest area and light meals provide more places to stay besides a bed.

I would first consider whether I can accept a shared environment. Some people find it quiet, while others are disturbed by the noise of other travelers at night; if I am a light sleeper or need complete solitude, this is more worth considering than the free amenities.

What attracts me, and what I need to think about before ordering.

What attracts me

  • Specifically designed for women, suitable for solo travel.
  • Bathing facilities, amenities, and rest areas are practical features that guests often mention.
  • Free curry and white rice from 6:00 to 10:00 AM, a simple breakfast option.

I will keep an eye on it.

  • The capsule is not a separate guest room; the bathroom and living space are shared.
  • The bunk beds are different from half-room beds; you should choose according to your usage habits.
  • For those who are sensitive to noise at night, first consider the rhythm of living together.

Location and Transportation: Plan your route in advance if you have luggage.

According to the official route, it’s about 6 minutes from the Usemori exit of Shinbashi Station and about 10 minutes from Shiodome Station. The address is 2-7-8 Higashi-Shinbashi. I’ll check my own route first; those who can get to Shinbashi by JR don’t need to transfer again just because of Shiodome Station.

The JR Shinbashi platform elevator connects to the ticket gate on the 1st floor and the underground Shiodome line, but the subway and Toei lines require separate information. When bringing large suitcases, please inquire with the venue beforehand about suitable exits and external entrances; do not assume that normal walking time is equivalent to a stepless route.

Surrounding Itinerary: How would I plan my trip while staying here?

I’ll take advantage of dining options in the Shinbashi area, and then during the day I’ll head to Ginza, Shiodome, or other Tokyo neighborhoods. If I want to return to the hotel early one evening to take a bath, tidy up my clothes, and sit in the rest area for a while, I can make the most of this type of accommodation.

Room type and space: Think about the bed and travel companions together.

Typically, each capsule is a single cabin, with the upper and lower cabins approximately 1 meter wide, 2 meters deep, and 1 meter high; these are cabin dimensions and should not be considered as the area of a regular room. People with mobility issues or who dislike climbing ladders can inquire about the lower bunk first.

There is also a half-room Private Capsule, which adds a table and chair work area. People who want to work in the hotel can compare, but they should still confirm whether the privacy and shared facilities meet their expectations; the way large suitcases are stored should also be clarified at check-in.

How should breakfast be arranged?

Curry and white rice are served free of charge from 6:00 to 10:00, while miso soup and other soups are available all day. I would treat this as a simple meal before heading out, rather than a fancy breakfast to add on.

Guests have also mentioned other light meals or muffins, but availability is subject to the hotel’s guidelines. If you prefer to find a coffee shop outside, you can still maintain your own morning rhythm.

Things I’ll pay attention to when staying one night versus staying consecutively.

Capsule use is generally available from 3:00 PM, and counter service begins at 12:00 PM; earlier use depends on the plan. Capsule check-out is at 12:00 PM. If you wish to continue using the public areas from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM, you must request this in advance.

For short stays, the bath and light meals can be supplementary; for extended stays, inquire about luggage, laundry, and cleaning arrangements beforehand. Evening activity in shared spaces is a possibility, so light sleepers should consider this in advance to make their solo trip more comfortable.
