Mitsui Garden Hotel Kyobashi / Tokyo Station
Mitsui Garden Hotel Kyobashi – Tokyo Station
Between Tokyo Station, Kyobashi and Ginza: room space and breakfast choices
Mitsui Garden Hotel Kyobashi is convenient for travelers combining Tokyo Station and Ginza. I would shortlist it for Kyobashi access, then choose based on room type and the price of breakfast. This works better than relying only on a brand or star rating.

| First considerations | My choice |
|---|---|
| Suitable trip | Short stays arriving via Tokyo Station, business visits, Ginza shopping and travelers who like quieter Kyobashi. Two large cases or high breakfast expectations warrant closer comparison. |
| Rooms to compare | The booking site lists Standard Twin at 23.5 m², Superior Twin at 35.3 m² and a 25.7 m² Queen category with sofa. |
| Trade-offs | Besides room space, guests mention waiting for elevators at busy times. |

Choosing the room and luggage space
Current booking information lists Standard Twin at 23.5 m² with two beds, Superior Twin at 35.3 m² and a 25.7 m² Queen with sofa. Room names can vary in translation, so compare actual area and beds. For two large cases, look at 23.5 m² or more, remembering that a sofa and coffee table also occupy floor space.
| Room type | Area or configuration | Best fit |
|---|---|---|
| Standard Twin | 23.5 m² | Two people with separate beds |
| Superior Queen | 25.7 m² | Shared bed and sofa |
| Superior Twin | 35.3 m² | More space for luggage and rest |
Compare the listed room types and confirm beds and permitted occupancy on the exact rate.

Access with luggage
Official access: about five minutes from Tokyo Station Yaesu Central Exit, one minute from Yaesu underground Exit 24; Ginza Line Kyobashi Exit 7 about two minutes, Takaracho Exit A5 five. Tokyo Station is vast, so allow time from the platform to Yaesu. With suitcases, look for an elevator and don’t assume underground Exit 24 is a lift.
At Kyobashi, an elevator connects the platform center to a dedicated gate, with additional lifts outside the Ginza-side gate at Exits 2 (Dai-ichi Life Mutual Building) and 3. Use these with big luggage and walk at street level toward Kyobashi 1-chome rather than apply the ordinary Exit 7 time.

Breakfast: decide whether the convenience is worth the cost
A Japanese and Western buffet is listed from 6:30–10:00 a.m. Recent guests often mention limited variety, although others like freshness and convenience. I would treat it as a time-saving meal. Over three nights, consider a nearby café or Tokyo Station breakfast on some mornings.

One night or several
A short stay benefits from the Tokyo Station–Ginza location. Longer stays work well if you explore this area daily; if your activities are mainly in western Tokyo, compare transfers. Coin laundry and microwave facilities are available; ask where they are and how to use them.

Trade-offs before booking
Guests also warn about elevator waits. The hotel currently states daily room cleaning, with linen normally replaced every three days; to change sheets daily, place the specified card. Don’t confuse less frequent linen changes with no room cleaning.

Plan nearby routes efficiently
Combine Ginza walks (Chinese guide) and Tsukiji Outer Market (Chinese guide) where travel directions align.

Once room type and itinerary match, compare total rates for the same dates, party size and cancellation terms. Breakfast and room-size upgrades should be compared separately.
