Practical stay near Kayabacho: plan luggage space in 11–12 m² rooms

HOTEL LiVEMAX Kayabacho suits travelers prioritizing subway access and price. It is close to Kayabacho, making a day out followed by a night’s sleep easy to arrange. Its smaller rooms are genuinely compact, so inspect housekeeping and luggage needs before focusing on the rate.

First things to considerMy choice
Suitable travelLight-packed solo travelers, short business stays and trips using the Hibiya or Tozai lines daily. Two people with large cases or guests wanting full daily cleaning should not judge solely on the lowest price.
Room choiceOfficial Single measures 11–12 m² with a 120 × 195 cm bed and permits up to two; Twin is 17 m² with two 120 cm beds.
Main trade-offReviews vary sharply on cleaning and service; some find it tidy while others mention bedding, towel changes or cleaning on consecutive nights.

Room types and luggage space

The official Single is 11–12 m² with a 120 × 195 cm bed and may accommodate two; Twin is 17 m² with two 120 cm beds. Allowing two in a single does not mean two people have room to move around. For separate beds or two large cases, start by comparing the Twin rather than trying to share the single’s bed and narrow passage.

Getting here with bags

The official directions put Kayabacho Exit 2 at around one minute and Hibiya Line Hatchobori Exit A5 at around two. There is still distance from platforms to street level; with suitcases, find station lifts and walk above ground. One minute from an exit does not mean one minute from your train.

Tokyo Metro indicates a lift from the east gate at Hibiya Line platform 1 at Kayabacho and another from the Kayabacho 2-chome-side gate toward Exit 1a. Choose the route based on your arrival platform rather than assuming the nearby stairs at Exit 2 are accessible.

Breakfast: confirm the format

The listing mentions a packed breakfast or meal bag. I would not expect a full buffet inside the hotel. Before adding breakfast, check where and when to collect it and exactly what is inside. If you prefer a warm sit-down meal, room-only plus a local café may be a clearer choice.

One night or several

One or two light-packed nights take best advantage of station access. Over longer stays, housekeeping frequency, towels and rubbish matter more than a two-minute walk. Ask about these services on the first day.

Trade-offs before booking

Reviews on cleaning and service are sharply divided: some report clean rooms and others problems with bedding, towel changes or multi-night housekeeping. I would select a cancellable rate, review recent photos from the same category and report any issue promptly after check-in.

If this room type and travel style suit you, compare total rates for the same dates, guest count and cancellation terms. Evaluate breakfast and larger categories separately.
