Twins and triples near Tsukiji Station: hotel breakfast or the market?
Hotel Keihan Tsukiji Ginza Grande works for travelers combining Tsukiji breakfast, Ginza shopping and subway trips. The streets by the hotel have a more residential feel, and options include twins, corner rooms and triples. For families, the most useful question is how much walking space remains after an extra bed is added.

How to choose

| Room choice | The 19 m² Double has a 160 cm bed and combined bathroom. Standard Triple is 23 m² with two 120 cm beds and a 110 cm extra bed; Comfort Triple offers the same beds in 27–31 m². |

Rooms and luggage space
The 19 m² double has a 160 cm bed and combined bath. Standard Triple is 23 m² with two 120 cm beds plus a 110 cm extra bed, while Comfort Triple is 27–31 m² with the same arrangement. The extra floor area—not bed width—is the key difference for unpacking and moving around.
The official room selection includes Twins, Comfort Twins, Corner Twins and Doubles, with photos of group configurations. When booking three people, confirm whether the third bed is permanent or added to a Twin, and distinguish standard, comfort and corner types rather than relying on similar-looking pictures.
Some guests cannot open three suitcases at once, while others say their Triple is sufficient. That likely reflects category and luggage differences. Two travelers seeking more room can compare larger Twins or Corner types. Bathroom photos show separate sink, toilet and bathing areas in some categories, but match them to the exact booking.

Guest room photos
Check beds, desk and entrance positions to imagine suitcase storage. Room furnishings differ by booked category.

Bathroom configuration
The bathtub, shower and basin positions affect two guests getting ready together. Review photos for the bathroom of your actual room rather than assuming all categories have the same arrangement.

Breakfast at tomoru, or Tsukiji Market
The second-floor restaurant tomoru serves a breakfast buffet from 7:00–10:00 a.m., last order 9:30. Options include vegetables, miso soup and varied hot dishes. For a family wanting to eat together without worrying about the weather, hotel breakfast can be easier.
Another option is to leave a morning for Tsukiji Outer Market with no hotel breakfast. Don’t prepay every day for something you might use. The gallery shows noodle dishes and plates, but actual offerings change and no particular bowl is guaranteed.

Transport, suitcases and map
The hotel is at 3-5-4 Tsukiji, convenient for Hibiya Line Tsukiji and also Shintomicho. Regular walking uses Tsukiji Exit 3, but with large cases look for a station elevator and follow the above-ground route instead of insisting on the nearest staircase.
Elevators at Tsukiji can be accessed from the Tsukiji Honganji-side gate toward Exits 1 or 2, and from the Irifunebashi-side gate toward Exit 3b. Choose according to your arrival platform; the ground-level route may be a little longer than the stairs.

Nearby routes
Spend the morning at Tsukiji, rest at the hotel at midday and go one stop to Higashi-ginza or walk around Ginza. For Makuhari or Maihama, check the connection to JR rather than assuming proximity to Tsukiji means a direct train.
One night or longer stay
A two-night stay lets you explore Tsukiji and Ginza separately, while longer stays allow time for laundry and grocery routines. For three travelers or families with children, compare total room area, the extra bed and suitcase sizes rather than counting beds alone.

Advantages and trade-offs
Advantages
Close to Tsukiji and the subway, this hotel offers more flexible family room options than properties with only small doubles. Guests often praise the quiet surroundings, nearby convenience stores and self-service amenities.
Things to consider
An extra bed changes suitcase passages significantly, so match the exact category name. Cleaning experiences also differ: check bedding, floor and bathroom upon arrival. If bright control-panel lights disturb sleep, ask how to dim the display at night.
