Henn na Hotel Tokyo Ginza
Henn na Hotel Tokyo Ginza
A self-service hotel near Shintomicho, with light complimentary breakfast and compact rooms.
The robotic reception at Henn na Hotel Tokyo Ginza makes a memorable first impression, but everyday convenience comes from access to Shintomicho and Tsukiji, a light breakfast in the lounge and the clothing-care appliance inside compact guest rooms. It suits independent travelers who spend their days exploring.

Choosing the hotel
| Item | Stay details |
|---|---|
| Location | 2-2-1 Tsukiji, Chuo City, Tokyo 104-0045, Japan. |
| Check-in / checkout | 3 p.m.–midnight / before 11 a.m. |
| Compare rooms | The 13 m² Deluxe Single has a 140 cm bed, while the 14.5 m² Double has a 160 cm bed. |
| Trip planning | Use it as a Tsukiji/Ginza base for one or two nights; after three nights confirm housekeeping and towel changes and arrange laundry. |
Room sizes and luggage space
The Deluxe Single is 13 m² with a 140 cm bed; the Double is 14.5 m² with a 160 cm bed. The 17.5 m² Twin has two 90 cm beds and, for a third person, a sofa bed. If you need separate beds with more floor area, compare the 19.6 m² Corner Twin.
Three sleeping spots do not mean three people can leave suitcases open. Guests report difficulty opening two large cases simultaneously. Families should plan bed allocation and unpacking order. The LG Styler in the room is a clothing-care system, not a standard washing machine; laundry still needs a separate plan.

Bathroom layout
The position of the bath, shower and washbasin affects how easily two people can get ready at once. Compare the photos and the bathroom in the precise room type you book.

Breakfast: a simple complimentary lounge meal
Guests can use a light breakfast in the first-floor lounge. The official guide lists 6:30–9:30 a.m., mainly bread, cereal, yogurt and fruit. This is convenient for coffee and a simple bite before leaving, but not a full Japanese hot-food buffet.
The lounge also offers drinks and snacks at other times. Seating is limited, and some travelers take food back to their rooms. Selection and rules can change; do not skip a Tsukiji breakfast you were looking forward to simply because the hotel provides something free.

Stations, luggage and map
The address is 2-2-1 Tsukiji, allowing trips via Shintomicho or Tsukiji. The closest station exit may not have an elevator. With luggage or a stroller, find the step-free station route before choosing your exit. If coming from an airport via Higashi-ginza, allow for the final walk and weather.
At Tsukiji Station, elevators toward exits 1/2 are available from the Tsukiji Honganji-side gate, or one toward exit 3b from the Irifunebashi-side gate. Follow signs based on the platform where you arrive; the street walk can be longer than from the closest stairs.

How I would plan nearby walks
Visit Tsukiji in the morning and Ginza in the afternoon, a relaxed arrangement within the area. For local life, have a simple dinner around Shintomicho, then return to the lounge for drinks.

Short visits and multiple nights
For one or two nights, it works as a Tsukiji and Ginza base. Beyond three nights, confirm housekeeping, towel changes and laundry. A three-person room is best for family members comfortable coordinating routines; light sleepers or travelers wanting their own storage should consider larger accommodations.

Reasons to choose and trade-offs
Advantages
Efficient self-check-in, light breakfast and drinks make early starts easier. Two metro lines are nearby, and guests also appreciate cleanliness and the in-room clothing-care equipment.
Things to consider
Neither rooms nor lounge are spacious, and large bags reduce usable space. Breakfast is light. Staff can help when self check-in needs assistance, but the experience differs from a conventional staffed check-in.
