TOKYO / CHIYODA
Toshi Center Hotel Tokyo: Nagatacho Access, Room Types and Breakfast
Toshi Center Hotel Tokyo
Nagatacho as a quiet base
I would consider Toshi Center Hotel Tokyo for meetings around Nagatacho and Hirakawacho, or for a trip relying on several subway lines. The rooms occupy floors 14–22, giving a different feel from a street-level business hotel. The business neighborhood is generally quieter at night, but reaching JR lines or sightseeing districts may require connections. It is better to plan journeys by destination than assume ‘city center’ means direct trains everywhere.
Stations and elevators
The official access information lists Nagatacho Exit 9a at about three minutes, Kojimachi Exit 1 at four minutes and Akasaka-mitsuke Exit D at eight minutes. Those are surface walks, not distances from the platforms. Tokyo Metro describes a ground-level elevator via the Hirakawacho-side ticket gates to the Prefectural Assembly Hall, whereas 9a is associated with escalator access. The street distance from that lift to the hotel remains unverified. With heavy bags, I would follow the elevator route even if it is longer than three minutes.
Rooms: the same floor space can sleep differently
The official Single, Semi-Double and Smart Twin each measure 15.5 m², but their beds are respectively 110 cm, 120 cm and two 95 cm singles. The Double has 17.5 m² and a 140 cm bed; Japanese-style rooms span 21.8–27.3 m² and list up to six guests. A pair of beds does not create more luggage space in a 15.5 m² room, and six sleeping places do not mean six open cases will fit. I would confirm nonsmoking requirements, orientation and the room layout rather than book on the higher-floor label alone.
Breakfast at Iris
Restaurant Iris lists breakfast from 06:45 to 09:30 with a ¥2,420 reference price as checked in October 2026. A September traveler found the choice limited but liked the coffee, while another in July thought it generous. The difference is preference, not proof that either account applies every morning. For a business start in the neighborhood it can be convenient; for late mornings or early flights, buying breakfast on every day of a longer stay may be unnecessary.
Recent reviews and stays
A guest in August 2026 reported odor in a nonsmoking Twin and said staff moved them to another room. A June Semi-Double guest found their room comfortable and free of smoke odor. These are different rooms, not evidence of a recurring hotel-wide problem or proof every complaint is resolved. I would choose a short stay primarily for its subway connections. On longer stays I would ask about cleaning, laundry and room orientation, and decide whether a 120 cm shared bed actually suits two people.
