Tokyu Stay Suidobashi: Tokyo Dome, In-Room Laundry and Breakfast Changes
Tokyu Stay Suidobashi
Suidobashi Tokyu STAY is ideal for people who want to combine a Tokyo Dome event with laundry needs for a consecutive stay. If I were attending a concert and wanted to bring as few clothes as possible, I would value the in-room washer-dryer and microwave; however, for three people staying in a 23㎡ room with twin beds and a sofa bed, you have to accept that the space will be reduced when the concert starts. Another key point is the difference in dates between the bilingual announcements regarding the breakfast change; old reviews and booking pages cannot be directly used as information about the meals on the actual day of stay.

Before making a choice, consider these trade-offs.
advantage:
- The original sample repeatedly showed itineraries including attending concerts, sports games, and walking around the Taipei Arena, with a clear purpose for accommodation.
- The official room type page lists a washer, dryer, and microwave, so you can bring fewer changes of clothes if you stay for an extended period.
- As you can see, the 23㎡ twin bed and sofa bed versions allow you to compare the number of people and luggage together.
limit:
- The triple room and the twin room are both 23 square meters, and adding a bed will not increase the floor space.
- The date of the breakfast change differs between the two languages listed on the official website: the Japanese version lists it as late November, while the English version lists it as mid-October. The current status still needs to be confirmed by the museum.
- Whether a guest room has a kitchenette depends on the room type; the hotel’s advantage of having a laundry service throughout the entire complex cannot be equated with the ability to cook in every room.

To get to the hotel: The exit and elevator are usually viewed separately.
The original Trip page listed the JR Suidobashi station as approximately 260 meters and 4 minutes away; the official homepage also uses Suidobashi as a transportation hub. However, the current version of the article does not cross-check the general exit names and elevator routes. The JR and Toei Mita Line Suidobashi stations are not on the same platform, so guests’ casual remark "the subway is very close" cannot be used as a substitute for the exit. Those with large suitcases should first ask the hotel for a recommended elevator from their chosen station, and then use the address 1-1-12 Misakicho to find the entrance; precise general/elevator exit to door time is left to be added.

How should one schedule a day be arranged in this location?
Tokyo Dome and Dome Castle can be the main itinerary; restaurants and bookstores in Jimbocho are suitable for use during off-peak hours. A comment on August 25, 2026, mentioning dining in Jimbocho, and the presence of concerts on June 26 and May 17, can be used to understand customer needs, but a fixed 10-minute return time to the room after the concerts is not guaranteed. Allowing time for walking and food purchases on large event days is more practical than relying on regular map minutes.
Room type, bed and luggage space
The Trip offers two rooms: a Superior Twin Room (23㎡) with two single beds and a Superior Twin Room with three beds (23㎡) plus a sofa bed. Apartment-style double rooms and comfortable single rooms are not listed in terms of size. The official room type page confirms amenities such as washer-dryer and microwave. IH ovens are available in some rooms; those who want to cook their own meals should confirm rooms with kitchenettes. A group of three travelers on June 11th explicitly stated that there was insufficient space after unfolding their luggage. Therefore, it’s advisable for three people to compare two rooms versus one triple room, rather than solely deciding based on per-person cost.
The newly added comment login field confirms that the room with no space after the three people packed their suitcases on June 11th was "Superior Twin Room 3"; the rooms mentioned as small on May 16th and June 26th were medium-sized double rooms with 140cm beds. If I were staying with two people, I would compare one triple room with two rooms, and plan in advance where to store my suitcases each day, without assuming there would be extra space based on the name of the room (e.g., twin or extra bed).
The washer, dryer, microwave, and small sink in the room are all shown in guest photos, not just on the equipment list; the passageway between the bed and desk in the medium-sized double room is also visible in the photos. If I want to rely on laundry to bring less clothes, I will leave the time for washing, drying, and packing in the itinerary; if I need to cook, I will still confirm the IH and kitchenware according to the room type.

Should we order breakfast together?
Upon checking on October 23, 2026, two official announcements dated July 24, 2026, contained a discrepancy: the Japanese announcement stated that Stay Morning Plus would end in late November 2026, while the English announcement still stated mid-October 2026. This document cannot determine from this whether the old service has ceased or the new service has begun. The Japanese announcement further states that the start date and details of the new service will be announced separately; the 1,500 yen fee and microwave heating instructions on the homepage, as well as the Trip’s time slot, do not guarantee applicability on the actual stay date. The original guest on March 14th felt that microwave breakfast was inferior to takeout, which was based on their experience at the time. Before booking breakfast included, please have the hotel confirm the supply method, collection time, cost, and applicable number of guests based on your stay dates; I reserve the option of no breakfast until confirmation is received. The considerations are different depending on whether you stay one night or stay for two consecutive nights.
For those staying only the night of the event, the focus is on dormitory beds and return transportation after the event. For extended stays, the value of laundry and microwave services becomes more apparent, but washing and drying clothes takes time, so you can’t check out immediately after turning them on in the morning. The official list includes basic cleaning for stays of several nights and weekly room cleaning; those with higher needs should inquire about additional services. Both the family on August 7th and the traveler on July 6th confirmed they were doing laundry; the latter stated they were staying for several days but didn’t specify the number of nights, so a weekly sample cannot be drawn up. On August 7th, a guest in the apartment-style double room specifically mentioned the washer-dryer, microwave, and extra sink; on July 6th, a guest in the comfortable single room also valued the in-room laundry and refrigerator. This shows that different room types in the same hotel have different living facilities, but if I want to cook, I will still check for IH and kitchen appliances, and I don’t consider having a microwave as a guarantee that I can cook a full meal.
What are some noteworthy signals in the original message?
Ten comments were read, dating from January 15th to August 25th, 2026. The smaller room size was mentioned repeatedly on May 16th, June 26th, June 11th, and July 6th. The most specific description of luggage pressure for three people was on June 11th; this complements the 23㎡ room card, but does not mean all rooms are unsuitable for luggage. Only one negative comment about breakfast was received (based on the old system). The platform’s "no negative reviews in the past 8 months" is a summary and cannot cover the specific inconveniences in the original comments.
What’s the final choice?
I will prioritize the Tokyo Dome event and add a few nights in Tokyo for the itinerary; for the three of us, we will first check the luggage flow, confirm the IH if we need to cook, and then confirm the breakfast options for the actual stay before making a selection.
