TOKYO/CHIYODA

sequence SUIDOBASHI: Tokyo Dome Shows, 5 p.m. Check-in and 2 p.m. Check-out

Sequence Suidobashi – Tokyo

Sequence Hotel Suidobashi is suitable for people who perform at Tokyo Dome or are used to arriving late and waking up late. If I want to go to my room and rest as soon as I arrive in the morning, the 5:00 PM check-in time is a very practical limitation; if I want to take my time to unpack the next day after the concert, the 2:00 PM check-out time is just right. Its advantages should be considered in the context of my schedule, not just in terms of distance from the station.

  • Advantages: The official route is about 1 minute from the west exit of JR Suidobashi Station, and the movement around Suidobashi Station before and after the performance is very intuitive.
  • Advantages: Check-out time is 2 PM, and breakfast is served until noon, which is suitable for itineraries where there are no early morning shifts the next day.
  • Restrictions: General check-in starts at 5:00 PM; room types include bunk beds and different bathroom configurations; there have also been negative experiences with train noise.

The west exit is very close, but for heavy luggage, you should still check the elevator routes inside the station first.

Officially, it’s about a 1-minute walk from the JR Suidobashi West Exit and about a 6-minute walk from the Mita Line Suidobashi A2 exit; these are not the same exit. These estimated times do not include the journey from the platform to the exit and crossing the street. (Official transportation and room types) Source 1

The walking time from the elevator exit to the hotel has not yet been confirmed. The shortest route from the West Exit cannot be directly considered the route suitable for pushing luggage throughout; if you need to take another elevator exit after arriving at the station, the ground distance should be recalculated. When traveling with elderly people, large suitcases, or strollers, you should first obtain the designated platform route from JR/Toei Station, rather than using the 1-minute walk from the West Exit as the sole criterion.

Tokyo Dome and Koishikawa Korakuen Park were repeatedly mentioned in guest reviews, suggesting that activities could be combined with walks in the surrounding area; park opening hours, show admission, and shop availability on the day need to be checked separately. Staying close to the hotel after a show does not guarantee early check-in; the case of a guest being arranged in advance on January 28, 2026, was an isolated incident.

I’ve read the information from a guest in a twin room with a shower on March 4th, who explicitly suggested that people with large luggage should exit the station via the elevator at the East Exit and then walk to the hotel. This is based on a traveler’s experience and hasn’t been verified with the JR station’s official route. I will use this as a reference for checking the station map, rather than directly writing its approximate 400 meters as the official distance or guaranteeing that there are no steps along the way.

Bunk beds, shower rooms, and twin beds with bathtubs should be selected separately.

Type Bunk classVerifiable information: Trip has bunk names such as 2nd, 3rd, etc. Please note that bed availability, ladder availability, and age restrictions need to be reconfirmed.

The official website’s FAQ lists accessible rooms, but not all rooms are the same. Bed width, bunk bed dimensions, and luggage clearance are not yet fully aligned, so we cannot guarantee that all room types can accommodate two suitcases. On August 13, 2026, a guest felt the aisle could accommodate a suitcase, while guests on July 20 and July 9 described it as small. New information indicates whether the room has a double bed or twin beds with only a shower and no bathtub; experiences should be tailored to the specific room type.

The new room type section shows that on August 13th, the room with a king-size bed was considered spacious enough for display, while on July 20th, the room with a shower and no bathtub was considered small. On July 9th, some reports also indicated that the king-size room was too small, so we cannot guarantee that a room with a specific name will necessarily be spacious. On February 26th, a guest who experienced a slight train noise after moving to a higher floor was also in a shower and twin room. I will verify the bathroom, floor, and actual amenities simultaneously, and will not assign photos of rooms with bathtubs to rooms without bathtubs.

The photos of the shower twin room show the relationship between the open washbasin, separate shower, bed, and orange chair; it should be viewed in groups with the bunk bed photos. If I need a bath, I will first look for room types with bathtubs; don’t assume that the shower room also has a bathtub just because there are bathroom photos in this article.

Luggage storage can solve the problem of early arrivals, but it cannot replace a room where you can rest.

The official FAQ lists check-in at 5:00 PM and check-out at 2:00 PM; luggage can be stored in the lobby before check-in and after check-out, but must be retrieved on the same day. Therefore, if I arrive in Tokyo in the morning, I will plan my itinerary after storing my luggage, and I don’t consider the luggage storage service as a way to take an early afternoon nap. Source 1

The official website mentions coin-operated laundry facilities, but there is no gym or large public bath; do not apply the bath facilities from other Sequence branches to this location. The FAQ also states that cleaning is done every two days for consecutive stays, which is different from daily full cleaning. A guest on August 23, 2026, provided a similar description regarding non-daily cleaning, but how towels and trash are disposed of on the same day should still be confirmed; do not take personal experience as the current full set of rules.

Breakfast can be eaten late, but not all itineraries are suitable for eating late.

The official website lists KANPAI TERRACE breakfast hours as 7:00–12:00, with the last order at 11:30. The menu mainly consists of cooked dishes, soups, and open sandwiches. The FAQ states that reservations are not required, and those not including meals can pay at the restaurant. Trip.com showed a price of 1,500 yen per person, but due to insufficient evidence to verify this through the official website’s pricing, it is not listed as a current fixed cost in this article.

The comment from August 13, 2026, was positive about the brunch, but it wasn’t enough to summarize the taste of all the dishes. If I stay up late after a show, breakfast until noon and checkout at 2 PM is fine; if I need to check out before 7 AM the next day, even a longer breakfast time is unnecessary. For consecutive stays, you can choose breakfast included based on your daily schedule, and there’s no need to stick to the same meal arrangement every night.

The breakfast display and the meal tray for guests in the shower twin room on July 1st both show salads, soups, and open sandwiches. I would consider it a brunch arrangement where I can sit down and have a meal; if I want to take my time the day after the performance, this is more helpful in deciding whether I want to add breakfast than just looking at the menu until noon, although the menu is subject to availability on the day.

Train noise and room reservation changes are issues at different levels.

On February 26, 2026, a guest stated that the twin beds, originally arranged on a lower floor, were affected by train noise. After being moved to a higher floor, the noise was still audible but manageable for rest. This is a case study with a specific handling process. The guest’s statement that "all twin beds face JR" cannot be elevated to an official arrangement, nor can it be guaranteed that higher floors will be completely quiet.

On July 9th, I had an experience where I wanted to combine two bookings for different dates into one room, but ended up being dissatisfied with the additional charge. That was an isolated case involving changes to the booking and room type, not a long-term rule for price increases; for consecutive stays, it’s best to check the room type and whether a room change is necessary from the beginning. For short stays, late check-in and train noise are the most noticeable; for consecutive stays, cleaning, laundry, and room connection issues become even more significant. I would prioritize bookings for concerts and late-night trips, but if I need to check in early or am very sensitive to train noise, I’ll clarify beforehand.
