Olympic Inn Kanda: Triple and Quad Rooms, Pillow Choices and Bathroom Reviews
Olympic Inn Kanda
Olympic Inn Kanda deserves a look if three or four people want to share a room near Kanda Station. Its advantage is practical rather than trendy: JR Kanda East Exit is roughly four minutes away and the hotel provides rooms from singles to four-person configurations, plus a pillow-selection service and bath amenities. Compact bathrooms and more than one recent cleaning complaint are the counterweight.
Station access
Address: 30-1 Kanda Tomiyamacho, Chiyoda; official check-in 15:00 and check-out 11:00. JR Kanda East Exit is around four minutes on foot after reaching street level. Kanda connects the Yamanote, Keihin-Tohoku, Chuo and Ginza lines, but train platforms and entrances differ. The precise lift-to-hotel route is not confirmed, so travelers with large luggage should find the station elevator and surface exit first.
Room comparison
Official room areas and beds: Semi Double from 13 m² with one 120 cm bed; Double from 15 m² with a 140 cm bed; Twin from 20 m² with two 120 cm beds; Triple from 20 m² with two 120 cm beds and an extra bed; and Fourth / four-person room from 20 m² with two 120 cm beds and two extra beds. The extra beds do not increase floor space, and four beds do not all have identical dimensions. Confirm smoking designation and actual luggage clearance. Bathrooms can be much tighter than the main room area suggests.
Breakfast
Breakfast is not established as a reliable current on-site offering. Trip advises contacting the property rather than supplying confirmed times or prices, and a guest in August 2026 said there was no restaurant breakfast. The hotel site emphasizes room-only stays and services without a verified breakfast package. I would plan a simple meal around Kanda Station and treat complimentary drinks in the lobby as drinks, not breakfast.
Guest reviews
Ten preserved Trip reviews from August 2025 to September 2026 often like friendly staff, complimentary beverages and pillow choices. Compact or dated bathrooms appear in more than one report. A July 2026 guest described bathroom odor, toilet and remote-control grime; an August guest separately noted cleaning around bathroom corners. Another August review praised cleanliness. Two concerns from different months warrant attention but do not prove every room is affected.
One night or several nights
For an overnight group outing, the Triple or four-person option may be worth comparing with two separate rooms. For longer stays I would ask how much space remains after extra beds and what room servicing involves. An August 2026 cleaning criticism and July report concern different categories, so consider both the booked room type and cleanliness priorities. If bathroom space or odors are deal-breakers, I would compare another property.
