Nest Hotel Tokyo Hanzomon: Exit 1 vs Lift Exit 6 and Free Light Breakfast
Nest Hotel Tokyo Hanzomon
A compact base near Hanzomon
Nest Hotel Tokyo Hanzomon is most useful for travel along the Hanzomon Line and walks around the western Imperial Palace area. Its address is 2-18 Hayabusacho, Chiyoda-ku. The hotel explicitly distinguishes ordinary Exit 1 from Exit 6, which has an elevator and escalator for travelers with more luggage. Both are listed at about one minute on foot, but that estimate starts at street level and is not a measured platform-to-room journey.
Choose the lift exit with luggage
The hotel’s own station guide says Exits 1–4 have stairs and recommends Exit 6 to those carrying many bags. It also lists a lift at Exit 5 without supplying a hotel walking time from it. A July 12, 2026 traveler recommended Exit 6, consistent with the hotel guidance. Check for temporary works at the station and do not assume an elevator wait fits into the one-minute street estimate. If using JR daily, the change of lines and longer station walk still matter.
Small rooms and bed widths
The official Single is 11 m² with a 120 cm semi-double bed, and Twin is 15 m² with 100 cm single beds. The accessible room is listed at 25 m² but its bed configuration needs confirmation. Trip also describes two neighboring twin rooms; neighboring does not mean connecting doors or one combined room for four. A July 2026 King-room guest described an approximately 1.8 m bed but also barely being able to half-open a suitcase. That report does not establish the same bed or floor area in every category. For two large bags I would compare a larger room and confirm clearance.
What the free breakfast means
The hotel officially displays ‘FREE BREAKFAST’, and several guests describe bread and coffee, with photographs showing packaged bread. Trip lists a free Western-style packed/light breakfast from 06:30 to 10:00; the precise hours were not confirmed on a readable official page. I would value this as a quick light meal, not an extensive Japanese-and-Western buffet. A traveler who needs hot dishes or is feeding children should plan an additional breakfast option. Nearby shops are mentioned in reviews but their morning opening times were not individually verified.
Cleaning, smell and multi-night stays
The saved source examined ten Trip guest posts from February 27 to October 2, 2026 out of 527 displayed. Multiple guests describe compact rooms, including a Small Double and a King room with luggage limitations. A September guest reported carpet odor and a room change with staff help, an individual event without evidence of a property-wide repair. Guests in July and August reported no on-site laundry, and a five-night Twin-room guest confirmed having to plan around that. For a solo short stay I would prioritize the station exits; for several nights or shopping trips I would check external laundry and room layout first.
