Hotel Villa Fontaine Tokyo-Otemachi: Kanda Access, 16–45 m² Rooms and Breakfast

Hotel Villa Fontaine Tokyo-Otemachi

Kanda is a more practical arrival point than the name suggests

Hotel Villa Fontaine Tokyo-Otemachi is in Uchikanda, useful for Kanda restaurants and travel into Otemachi. The hotel’s access guide places JR Kanda West Exit at about five minutes, Otemachi A4 about six minutes and Tokyo Station Marunouchi North Exit about thirteen minutes. Those are estimates from street exits; a guest carrying bags took around twenty-five minutes from Tokyo Station. I would choose Kanda when convenient, not drag suitcases from Tokyo Station simply because the hotel says Otemachi.

Room size and occupancy vary widely

The Standard Twin is 16 m² with two 90 × 200 cm beds, while Superior Twin is 20 m² with two 120 × 200 cm beds. Superior Queen is 20 m² with a 160 cm bed and a stated maximum of three, though the third sleeping arrangement needs confirmation. Deluxe Twin is 45 m² with two 120 cm beds and up to four guests; the 45 m² Japanese-Western room is listed for up to five and has different extra bedding. I would not assume all 45 m² rooms permit five or that a small twin automatically has comfortable floor space.

Station lifts and room layouts

The complete accessible exit-to-hotel route from Otemachi has not been established, so the six-minute A4 walk cannot be described as step-free. One Twin guest mentioned a narrow passage between bed and TV, but their exact official subcategory was missing. A longer stay with two large cases deserves a comparison between 16 and 20 m², plus a check of table and walking space. For families, confirm third to fifth beds and the usable floor once they are laid out.

Breakfast starts at 06:30

The hotel’s breakfast guide lists service from 06:30 to 09:30, with a ¥1,540 tax-included adult reference price in October 2026. The offerings include eggs, sausages, breads, salad, soup and drinks, with some dishes changing daily. There were not enough original guest accounts specifically tasting this branch’s breakfast to support a strong flavor judgment. A review mentioning breakfast at another Villa Fontaine location is not evidence about this one. I would compare the breakfast-inclusive rate with paying at the hotel if I have time after 06:30.

Laundry and guest feedback

Ten saved Trip reviews dated April–October 2026 mostly involved twin categories. One October visitor believed there were no laundry machines, another May guest missed a chair, and an August guest disliked narrow walking space. These are separate observations, not proof of a recurring defect across all categories. Reports about whether bottled water was supplied also differed by date. Before a longer visit I would confirm laundry versus send-out washing, room seating and the precise booking category; for a short Kanda trip, location and bed choice may be enough.
