APA Hotel Nagatacho Hanzomon Ekimae: 11–23 m² Rooms and Breakfast
A practical base on the Hanzomon Line
APA Hotel Nagatacho Hanzomon Ekimae is a practical choice for days around Hirakawacho, Hanzomon and Kojimachi, especially when I plan to use the Hanzomon or Yurakucho metro lines. Although Nagatacho is in the name, the hotel’s walking directions emphasize Hanzomon Exit 6 and Kojimachi Exit 1, both about four minutes away. The address is 1-3-5 Hirakawacho, Chiyoda. Check-in is 15:00, check-out 10:00, and the hotel lists nonsmoking rooms throughout.
The station exit is only part of the journey
Four minutes refers to a normal walk after leaving the station. A local station guide identifies an elevator at Hanzomon Exit 6, but the entire platform-to-street route was not independently matched against Tokyo Metro’s station plan. Kojimachi Exit 1 is another short walking option, not a confirmed accessible route. With a large suitcase or stroller, I would check the correct lift and street-level crossings before deciding where to alight.
11 m² versus 23 m²
Official rooms: Single 11 m² with one 140 cm bed, Double 11 m² with the same bed, and Deluxe Twin 23 m² on the fifteenth floor with two 120 cm beds. Double occupancy does not make an 11 m² room larger. A September 2025 single-room guest found luggage storage difficult; that does not establish the same problem for the bigger Twin. I would compare the Twin when two people need to open suitcases daily. Photos show compact desk-to-bed passages in the small rooms.
Breakfast and shared facilities
The first-floor Irish Pub Peter Cole serves a buffet of around thirty Japanese-and-Western items, including rice and curry, from 07:00 to 10:00 with last orders at 09:30. October 2026 adult reference prices were ¥1,700 prepaid and ¥1,900 on the day. Official pages differ in their child-age pricing categories, so families need to confirm the actual package. The hotel also lists two coin-operated laundry machines, a microwave and an ice machine on the first floor; a photograph does not establish that a machine will always be free.
Housekeeping and the guest-review trade-offs
The hotel describes Eco cleaning for longer stays, so full room cleaning, bath mats, towels and rubbish removal should be confirmed rather than assumed to happen every day. The source reviewed ten Trip guest posts from July 2025 to September 2026. A September 1, 2026 single-room guest mentioned odor and missing supplies, while September 7 and 27 guests praised cleanliness. These contrasting experiences do not establish either a universal problem or a verified repair. For a one-night stay I would focus on the exit and room size; for several nights I would compare the 23 m² room and ask about housekeeping and laundry.
