Luqin Apartment Honkomagome

Location and luggage

Honkomagome Station is about 440 m away, around seven minutes on foot. The Namboku Line has a separate lift-only exit near Honkomagome Elementary School. That solves the station stairs, but guests have reported that the accommodation building itself has no lift.

Rooms and bedding

The 80 m² city-view two-bedroom suite lists three double beds and one sofa bed, with a maximum of ten guests. A group that large should agree on who uses each bed and how the living room will function before booking.

Amenities and guest experience

Luggage storage and pickup arrangements are listed. The kitchen and nearby shops make the apartment useful for group stays, but carrying ten people’s suitcases up building stairs could be exhausting. Check the floor and access conditions.

Nearby walks

Honkomagome and Hakusan are quieter residential districts, convenient for a less hurried Tokyo trip. I would arrange groceries on the route back to the apartment.

One night or several

Check-in is listed from 15:00 to midnight and check-out before 11:00. For several nights, the 80 m² living area and kitchen may justify the price; for one night, the stair climb may outweigh those benefits.

Pros, cons and verdict

• + 80 m² with two bedrooms
• + Multiple beds for a family or group
• + Kitchen and local shopping nearby
• – No elevator in the building according to guest feedback
• – Ten guests still share living and bathroom space
• – Large suitcases are awkward on stairs

I would shortlist this for friends or family who need to stay together and can handle the stairs. For guests with mobility needs or many heavy suitcases, a serviced hotel with a lift is a better match.
