Super Hotel Hiroshima Yagenboridori | Natural Hot Spring and Free Breakfast, 12–14 sqm Rooms for Light-Packing Stays
Super Hotel Hiroshima Yagenboridori

How This Hotel Suits a Stay
- The natural hot spring is open for long hours, good for a soak after returning to the hotel.
- The free breakfast simply covers a pre-outing meal.
- Nagarekawa dining and PARCO are within walking distance.
How Would I Choose?
I count the hot spring and the free basic breakfast as part of the stay’s value. The rooms are small and there is still a walk from the tram stop; people who enjoy soaking, travel light, and mainly eat in the city centre will get the most from its strengths.
Super Hotel Hiroshima Yagenboridori suits people who want a light-packing base and a soak every day. The free breakfast, natural hot spring, and Welcome Bar look attractive together, but the 12–14 sqm rooms are still compact, so anyone with a lot of luggage needs to accept that scale first.
I would first check whether I would really use the bath, then compare the room rate. If you are often out in the evening and rushing out in the morning, in-room space may affect comfort more than the extra facilities.
Standard 12 sqm, and Twin 14 sqm Still Means Taking Turns Unpacking
A standard room is 12 sqm with one double bed, and a twin room is 14 sqm with two single beds. The Hollywood twin is also 14 sqm, but its bed setup is listed as one double plus one single; the superior room lists a double bed with a bunk-bed setup, so compare by how you will actually sleep.
Several guests mention small rooms and difficulty unpacking luggage, a limitation I would accept up front. When staying several nights with two large suitcases, putting one away and swapping to the other is more realistic than expecting a full walkway to stay clear.
In this Trip.com listing, “Hollywood twin” means one double bed plus one single bed, unlike a standard twin’s two single beds; the superior room’s bunk beds also involve climbing. Travelling with children or as three people, I would check the bed setup and upper-bunk conditions directly rather than imagining them from the name “twin”.
| Room type | Size | Bed setup |
|---|---|---|
| Standard room | 12㎡ | One double bed |
| Twin room | 14㎡ | Two single beds |
| Hollywood twin room | 14㎡ | One double bed + one single bed |
| Superior room | 12㎡ | Double bed with bunk-bed setup |

Free Breakfast Is Fairly Basic — Adjust Expectations If You Like a Generous Buffet
Guests differ on breakfast: some find it tasty and convenient, others describe the dishes as plain with few choices, while praising the plentiful croissants and coffee. I would treat it as a basic pre-outing breakfast, good for a simple fill before starting the day.
Breakfast serves toast, vegetables, and daily specials; Monday to Saturday 6:30–8:30, and Sunday and public holidays 6:30–9:00. With the earlier weekday finish, anyone who likes sleeping in can plan to eat out while shopping in the city centre. Dining in Tanakamachi Is Convenient, but Allow a Walk After the Tram
2-28 Tanakamachi, Naka Ward, 730-0026 Hiroshima City, Hiroshima Prefecture, Japan
The address is 2-28 Tanakamachi, with the last leg from the Ebisucho or Kanayamacho tram stop. Nagarekawa street is about a 240-metre walk and PARCO about 470 metres, so nearby restaurants and city-centre shopping link together easily.
Hondori Station is about a 1 km, 14-minute walk, and JR Hiroshima Station about 1.6 km. With suitcases, I would compare transfers and the final walk; the Peace Memorial Park is about 1.2 km, worth a full visit before heading to Hondori for a meal.

Soaking Is a Plus, but Weigh the Small Rooms and Cleanliness Feel Together
The natural hot spring is listed as 15:00 to 9:00 the next day, and the Welcome Bar as 17:00–21:00. Guests like the relaxing hot spring and welcome drinks, though some find the bath small; in March 2025 a guest complained about dust in the room and bath cleanliness, so I would weigh the bathing experience against my own cleanliness needs. (Routine times and reference prices checked: 22 October 2026; follow the hotel’s on-site notices.)
For a night or two, enjoying the bath and breakfast is straightforward; for more nights, luggage, laundry, and full cleaning arrangements matter more. Guests with tattoos should also check the bath rules first to decide whether they can use it.

How I Would Choose in the End
I would first ask myself whether I would use the hot spring every day: if so, and I accept 12–14 sqm and the walk after the tram stop, this hotel has clear value. For people who want to sleep in, unpack two large suitcases, or cannot use the bath, the extra facilities may not make up for the in-room limits. Treat the free breakfast as a simple morning meal, and note especially that weekday breakfast ends at 8:30.

Strengths and Trade-offs to Accept
Strengths I Value
- The natural hot spring is open for long hours, good for a soak after returning to the hotel.
- The free breakfast simply covers a pre-outing meal.
- Nagarekawa dining and PARCO are within walking distance.
Think Through Before Booking
- The 12–14 sqm rooms are compact, making large suitcases hard to unpack.
- Weekday breakfast ends at 8:30, which is hard for late risers.
- There is still a walk from the tram stop to the hotel, plus individual reports about bath size and cleanliness.
