Super Hotel Hiroshima

Super Hotel Hiroshima in Nishihiratsukacho is a practical budget-oriented stay with free breakfast and coin laundry. Nearly every room is around 12 m², so I would choose it for a light-luggage itinerary spent mostly outside.

Rooms and bedding

The standard double has one shared double bed. A Super Room uses a double bed with an upper bunk, which may help two guests who do not want to share one bed; a large-desk non-smoking room is intended for someone who needs workspace. All three are about 12 m². The bunk adds a sleeping place, not more space to unpack. Select a genuinely non-smoking rate if smoke is a concern.

Breakfast

Free buffet breakfast starts at 06:30. The source lists 06:30–08:30 Monday to Saturday and service until 09:00 on Sundays and holidays. I like being able to eat before going out, but the early cut-off matters: sleeping late means missing it, even when it is included.

Transport and attractions

The property is at 8-11 Nishihiratsukacho, convenient for Peace Boulevard, Nagarekawa restaurants and Shintenchi’s Okonomimura. For arrival, I would compare the Kanayamacho and Ebisu-cho tram stops with the actual entrance; getting to JR Hiroshima Station still needs travel time.

Short and longer stays

Coin-operated laundry helps on a multi-night visit, but two people with full-size cases will feel the limits of a 12 m² room. This Nishihiratsukacho property is a different Super Hotel from the Hiroshima Natural Hot Spring Yagenboridori branch, so a spa-focused traveler needs to select the correct location.

Advantages and trade-offs

  • + Free breakfast from 06:30
  • + Coin laundry for multi-night stays
  • + Standard, bunk and work-desk configurations
  • – Most rooms are only 12 m²
  • – Breakfast closes early on weekdays
  • – Not the hot-spring branch; smoking plans require care

My choice

I would choose this for one or two travelers who want a compact room, included breakfast and a convenient city location. Large suitcases and long hours in the room point toward a larger property.
