Restay Hiroshima Adults-Only: 30 sqm Rooms, Check-in Times and Consecutive-Stay Rules
Restay Hiroshima (Adult Only)

How this stay works best
- A 30 sqm double room is roomier than a typical small business hotel.
- Guests repeatedly praised the cleanliness and service.
- Around Takanobashi there are Hiroshima-style okonomiyaki shops and everyday conveniences.
How would I choose?
Restay Hiroshima (Restay Hiroshima Adult Only) suits travellers who are open to choosing an adults-only leisure hotel and want a larger double room. I would first compare the 30 sqm space and the actual stay times, then look at the entertainment facilities; as it is adults only, families with children should choose another hotel.
Guests gave positive feedback on room spaciousness, cleanliness and service, but the going-out and multi-night arrangements of this kind of stay may differ from a regular business hotel. My key question is whether the whole stay period can fit my daytime and evening plans.
King double bed and large bath, with entertainment facilities by room number
The double room is listed at 30 sqm with one king double bed, a private bathroom, a refrigerator and bathrobes. Compared with a business hotel of just over ten square metres, the larger indoor space is genuinely appealing, suited to two travellers who want to slow down in the room. Massage chairs, karaoke and similar facilities vary by room number and grade, so if you like a particular facility, choose the corresponding room rather than counting everything seen in photos as part of a standard double room. My order would be to settle bed, bathroom and non-smoking needs first, then consider entertainment as a bonus.

Arrive via Takanobashi, and plan the park north from Otemachi
5 Chome-15-25 Otemachi, Naka Ward, 730-0051 Hiroshima City, Hiroshima Prefecture, Japan
The address is 5 Chome-15-25 Otemachi, and you can arrive by Hiroden from the Takanobashi direction. Peace Memorial Park is about 1.1 km on foot and Hondori Station about 1.4 km; you can extend north into the city centre, but anyone rushing to Hiroshima Station first thing every morning will spend extra effort on connections. The area has Hiroshima-style okonomiyaki shops and convenience stores, and guests noted that late-night izakaya choices are fewer. I would finish dinner along the sightseeing route first, then come back to rest, rather than looking for a meal again after reaching the room.

Late check-in and consecutive-stay hours are a real trade-off
Regular check-in is listed as 18:00-22:00, with check-out before 11:00. Travellers who return only in the evening will find this easier to fit; those who need an afternoon nap should factor the later check-in into their itinerary. (Operating information: 22 October 2026.) The hotel has a laundry corner. A multi-night guest in April 2026 mentioned having to leave the room for a period each day, while also praising cleanliness and staff in the same review; another guest in May 2026 reported air-conditioning noise in an individual room. For me, consecutive-stay hours matter more than entertainment facilities.

How I would choose in the end
If I spent the day in the city and only came back in the evening to use a 30 sqm room, I would include Restay in an adults-only stay comparison. The space and large bath are appealing for slowing down in the room; for a consecutive stay that needs continuous daytime use of the room, the leaving-the-room arrangements guests mentioned should be factored in.

Advantages and trade-offs to accept
Advantages I value
- A 30 sqm double room is roomier than a typical small business hotel.
- Guests repeatedly praised the cleanliness and service.
- Around Takanobashi there are Hiroshima-style okonomiyaki shops and everyday conveniences.
Think this through before booking
- Adults only; not suitable for family trips with children.
- Check-in and going-out times need confirming plan by plan.
- Consecutive stays may require leaving the room each day, and there is also feedback about air-conditioning noise.
