Room choices

The single and small double are both 11 m²; the latter is a shared-bed option for two, not a spacious double room. A double is 13 m², and the 16 m² twin is more suitable for two travelers who prefer separate beds and have larger bags. Select smoking and non-smoking rates deliberately.

Local breakfast

Hanamomi on the first floor serves breakfast 06:30–10:00, with entry before 09:30. The saved October 2026 rate was ¥1,980 per adult, ¥1,100 for elementary-school children, and free for preschoolers. Guests liked the Hiroshima-style okonomiyaki, fried oysters, gansu fish cakes and local greens. Menus change, and one longer-stay guest found the offerings repetitive.

Transport and neighborhood

The Nakamachi location makes Fukuromachi tram stop, Hondori shopping and Peace Memorial Park easy to combine. I would plan those as a walking itinerary instead of returning to Hiroshima Station between sights. For a large suitcase, check the tram approach and hotel entrance.

One night or longer

The shared bath stays open until 01:00 the next day. That is useful after sightseeing, but it does not change how tight an 11 m² room and its small private bathroom can feel. For several nights, I would compare a twin and vary hotel breakfast with nearby cafés.
