Casaen Kanayamacho Apartment | 41–42㎡ One Bedroom: Compare the Bed Sets of Four Booking Options First
Casaen by b Hotel – 1Br with Balcony Near Hondori Shopping Arcade, 6Ppl

How to stay here
- Kanayamacho location connects PARCO, Nagarekawa and Shintenchi dining.
- 41–42㎡ one bedroom plus living space, so travelling companions can stay together.
- Different bed sets can be compared by shared-bed and sofa-bed needs.
How Would I Choose?
I would consider Casaen for its Kanayamacho location and one-bedroom living space. The four options are in the same building, but bed sets and room numbers differ; for six people, shared beds and the living-room sofa bed need to be accepted, and sorting out who sleeps where each day makes the stay work better.
Casaen by b Hotel is at Kanayamacho 10-6, for a family or friends who want to stay in one unit. The 41–42㎡ one-bedroom apartment has a basic split between sleeping and living areas, and I would put it on a city-centre group-stay shortlist.
The four booking options look similar, so I would compare the actual bed sets and room numbers directly. If someone needs a large bed and someone else is prepared to sleep on the sofa bed, agree the night-time arrangement first, so the shared area is not constantly taken up by bedding during the day.
41㎡ and 42㎡ Are Close — the Real Difference Is the Bed Set
Listings 91391406 and 91391481 offer one large bed, one double bed and a sofa bed; listings 91391478 and 123007377 offer two double beds and a sofa bed, and 91391478 explicitly lists Room 303. My approach would be to match travelling companions first, then look at the plan price.
When six people share, the living-room sofa becomes a sleeping place; if someone goes to bed early, other people’s chatting and tidying have to fit around that. For two groups of friends, whether this sleeping arrangement is acceptable matters more than a one- or two-square-metre difference in the listed size.
| Booking Option | Area | Bed Set |
|---|---|---|
| 91391406 | 42㎡ | Large bed + double bed + sofa bed |
| 91391478: Room 303 | 42㎡ | Two double beds + sofa bed |
| 91391481 | 41㎡ | Large bed + double bed + sofa bed |
| 123007377 | 42㎡ | Two double beds + sofa bed |

About 390 m to PARCO, About 420 m to Nagarekawa
Naka-ku Kanayamacho 10-6, Naka Ward, 730-0022 Hiroshima City, Hiroshima Prefecture, Japan
The address is Kanayamacho 10-6; arrive using city transport in the Kanayamacho direction and the host’s entry instructions. The walking route from JR Hiroshima Station is about 1.2 km, and Hondori Station is about 970 m, about 14 minutes — when dragging luggage, I would compare transfers too.
PARCO is about a 390 m walk and Nagarekawa Street about 420 m, so shopping, izakaya and Shintenchi Hiroshima-style okonomiyaki can fit into one day. Peace Memorial Park is about 1.3 km away; I would set aside a morning to visit it, then follow with Hondori dining.

For a Short Stay, Pick Sleeping Places First; for Longer Stays, Sort Out Daily Living
For a one-night short stay, I would save the main door, room number and entry steps first, so everyone in the group can get in smoothly; for more nights, folding the sofa bed away and everyone’s routines matter more.
If everyone is mainly out during the day and wants to rest together at night, this 41–42㎡ way of staying is worth comparing; if everyone wants their own bed and their own routine, splitting into several guest rooms should go on the same budget sheet.

Kitchen and Bathtub, Keeping the Apartment Feel
The apartment has a refrigerator, electric kettle, kitchen and a bathroom with a bathtub. Being able to come back after going out, make a simple meal and rest is why I would include this one-bedroom way of staying in a comparison.
Choose by Bed Set Across Four Listings, Don’t Let the Same Address Hide the Differences
With PARCO, Nagarekawa and Hondori activities as the focus, I would compare these four 41–42㎡ listings; choose a large bed plus a double bed, or two double beds, first, then assign the sofa bed. Only if shared beds and a shared living room are acceptable does this way of staying together suit.
Kanayamacho Same-Address Listings: How to Choose Between 41㎡ and 42㎡
This apartment at Kanayamacho 10-6 has several different booking entries. The 41㎡ plan (Trip 91391481) lists one bedroom, one large bed, one double bed and a living-room sofa bed; the 42㎡ plan (Trip 91391478) is one bedroom with two double beds plus a living-room sofa bed. The areas differ by only about one square metre, so the bed combination affects how you actually sleep far more.
For a small group of six, I would first work out who can share a double bed and who suits the sofa bed better; with older travellers or companions who need to sleep early, the maximum of six people should not be taken as six separate sleeping places. The living room is also needed during the day for sitting down to eat and sorting luggage, and the usable area shrinks once the sofa bed is spread out.
Another Casaen listing at the same address (Trip 123007377) also lists 42㎡, two double beds and a living-room sofa bed. Different Trip numbers do not necessarily mean different buildings, so when booking, use the full room number to check the floor, bed type and dedicated photos, then compare that day’s price and cancellation terms; do not assume another room number’s balcony, appliances or light apply here.
Kanayamacho is close to the Hatchobori and Nagarekawa dining and shopping areas; for a short stay I would weigh convenience getting in and out of the city centre most heavily, and only for stays of three nights or more put laundry, simple cooking and leaving luggage spread out for a long time higher on the priority list. The listing names look alike, so in the end the room number and bed type actually booked decide it.
Strengths and Trade-Offs to Accept
Strengths I Value
- Kanayamacho location connects PARCO, Nagarekawa and Shintenchi dining.
- 41–42㎡ one bedroom plus living space, so travelling companions can stay together.
- Different bed sets can be compared by shared-bed and sofa-bed needs.
Think Through Before Booking
- Six people need to share beds, and the sofa bed will also take up living-room space.
