How This Place Suits a Stay

  • 28–38㎡ room types, so families and friends can choose by bed layout.
  • Guests like the clean rooms, projector and large fridge.
  • The Dobashi neighbourhood is convenient, about 590 m from the Peace Memorial Park.

How Would I Choose?

I would consider it for the Dobashi transport links, the larger family space and the projector. Sofa beds or Japanese futon bedding for different room numbers need to be arranged in advance, the entry instructions are worth saving beforehand, and large suitcases need a stair-carrying plan.

Hotel Cla-SS Hiroshima-Dobashi suits families and friends who want a bit more room to move around in. With room types from 28.1 to 38.3㎡, you can choose a bed layout by party size; some family guests like the projector and large fridge, and there is still space to spend time together back in the room.

My first step would be to tell them the adults, children and actual sleeping places all together. Sofa beds or Japanese futon bedding need to be arranged in advance; once that is settled beforehand, you can rest straight after arriving.

Rooms 101, 102, 201 and 202: Bed Layouts and Areas, Looked at Separately

Room 101 is a three-person room of 28.1㎡ with two single beds; Room 102 is a four-person room of 33.5㎡ with three single beds; Room 202 is a family room of 33.5㎡ with two double beds. If you want to use a sofa bed in any of these, you need to arrange it in advance.

Room 201 is a 38.3㎡ deluxe family room with two double beds, and using two sets of Japanese futon bedding also needs to be arranged first. I would check the walkway once the bedding is laid out, so the third and fourth travellers’ luggage does not block the entrance.

It is in the Dobashi area, and you can plan transport using the Dobashi tram stop and the stay’s entry instructions. The walking route to the Peace Memorial Park is about 590 m, to the Peace Memorial Museum about 940 m and to the Atomic Bomb Dome about 980 m; I would decide the sightseeing direction first, then set aside a full morning.

Hondori Station is about 1.2 km away, about 17 minutes. Guests like the nearby convenience stores and izakaya; for shopping or Hiroshima-style okonomiyaki, head to Hondori or Shintenchi.

Hotel Exterior and Shared Spaces

Clean Space Praised; Entry and Carrying Luggage Upstairs Are Concrete Homework

Several family guests praised the spaciousness and cleanliness; guests in Room 101 in July 2026 and in Room 201 in September both mentioned difficulty getting in — one received phone and on-site help, and the other also ran into a Wi-Fi password information problem. I would save the full door-opening steps and contact details before arriving.

In 2025 a guest mentioned there is no lift and large suitcases must be carried to the second floor. Travelling with a stroller, elderly travellers or many pieces of luggage, I would arrange the carrying by assigned room number first; there was also an individual report that Room 101’s bathtub could not hold water, so anyone wanting a bath can test it after arriving.

For one night, smooth entry and making the beds come first; for several nights, the kitchen and larger family living space are easier to get value from. People willing to handle everyday details themselves will suit it better.

Kitchen and Projector: Time Together Back in the Room

The room has a fridge, microwave and kitchen, handy for simple meals. A Room 201 guest liked the projector and large fridge, and children back in the room can still rest together; the stay’s description lists one housekeeping service per stay, so consecutive nights do not get a full daily clean.

Room Number, Bedding and Entry: Three Things to Confirm Together

For families or friends wanting 28–38㎡ and a kitchen, I would choose by the bed layouts of Rooms 101, 102, 201 and 202, not just by how many people can stay. Arrange sofa beds and futons in advance, and get the luggage-carrying-upstairs and door-opening information ready first; only those willing to look after everyday things themselves will get more out of the large rooms.

Pros and Trade-offs to Accept

Pros I Value

  • 28–38㎡ room types, so families and friends can choose by bed layout.
  • Guests like the clean rooms, projector and large fridge.
  • The Dobashi neighbourhood is convenient, about 590 m from the Peace Memorial Park.

Think Through Before Booking

  • Sofa beds and Japanese futon bedding need to be arranged in advance.
  • Guests in different room numbers mentioned unclear entry information and Wi-Fi password problems.
  • There are reports of carrying luggage up to the second floor and no lift, so those with a lot of luggage should arrange this first.
