How to stay here

  • Opened in 2026, with family layouts from 32 to 57㎡.
  • Every room has a private bathroom and bathtub.
  • The 47㎡ and 57㎡ rooms have different bedding, so choose by how willing you are to share beds.

How Would I Choose?

I would consider it for its 2026 opening, the choice of bedding for groups, and private bathrooms. The 47㎡ family suite and the 57㎡ suite have different bed layouts, there is no luggage storage before check-in, and self check-in has caused difficulties — all important conditions for planning arrival day.

GRACE STAY Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park opened on March 11, 2026, with eight room types, for people who want the family together and still want a private bathroom and bathtub. What I value is that room sizes and bed layouts can be compared clearly.

My main trade-off is arrival planning: no luggage storage is offered before check-in, and some guests have had trouble with self check-in. If I arrive in Hiroshima in the morning, I would leave my luggage at a usable storage spot at the station first, then start sightseeing.

47㎡ Family Suite Sleeps Eight, While the 57㎡ Suite Is a Seven-Person Layout

The 47㎡ family suite has four double beds and sleeps up to eight; the 57㎡ suite has two double beds, two single beds and a sofa bed, and sleeps up to seven. I would choose by whether fellow travellers are willing to share beds — a larger room does not necessarily sleep more people.

The 32㎡ standard studio and the 34㎡ superior room also have different spare bedding. If travelling with children or older relatives, first work out who sleeps in a regular bed, who uses the sofa bed or futon, then decide whether an upgrade is worth it.

In practice, the 47㎡ family suite’s beds are split between two double beds in the bedroom and two double beds in the living room; the 57㎡ suite has two single beds in the bedroom, two double beds in the living room and a sofa bed. So “suite” does not mean every group gets a separate bedroom, and the living room may stay a sleeping area the whole time.

Bigger Rooms Also Have Living-Room Beds — Sort Out Luggage Early

If I want the family together, I would choose GRACE STAY by the actual bed layouts across 32 to 57㎡; the 47㎡ and 57㎡ living rooms also hold beds, so not everyone gets a separate room. Arrange luggage storage separately before check-in, and save the building front and check-in information in advance, so arrival day is easier to manage.

3-4-10 Honkawacho — Identify It by the Address and Entrance First

3-4-10 Honkawacho, Naka Ward, 730-0802 Hiroshima City, Hiroshima Prefecture, Japan

The address is 3-4-10 Honkawacho, and city transport can be planned around Honkawacho and Tokaichimachi. The walk from Hondori Station is about 1 km, and Kencho-mae Station is about 1 km, around 15 minutes; when dragging luggage, I would make the transfer and the check-in time connect smoothly.

I would make the Atomic Bomb Dome and Peace Memorial Park the main block, then go to Hondori for meals and shopping, or follow on to Shintenchi Hiroshima-style okonomiyaki.

Good Reviews for the Space — Finding the Entrance and Getting Support Are the Practical Homework

Guests like the new, clean, well-designed space; in April 2026 someone felt the wait to reach staff was long, and in May and July others mentioned the map location or entrance being hard to find. I would save the address, a photo of the building front and the check-in steps in advance, so I am not relying on a map pin on site.

Check-in is 15:00–23:00, so plans must fit the arrival window. For a single night, check-in efficiency and luggage storage matter most; for several nights, the family room’s shared space is more useful, letting the family come back and rest together.

  • Self check-in requires saving the full instructions in advance and matching the arrival window.
