How to Stay Here

  • Fujimicho location links Peace Memorial Park with city-centre dining.
  • Separate bedroom and living space.

How Would I Choose?

If you like apartment living and want to arrange meals and rest time yourself, I would consider this Fujimicho property. Five people need different bedding, so sorting out who sleeps in a bed and who uses a sofa bed or Japanese futon bedding is more practical than just looking at the maximum occupancy.

First Hiroshima suits families or friends happy to share an apartment’s living space. Its Fujimicho location connects city-centre dining with a Peace Memorial Park itinerary, and the room has a fridge, microwave and other living facilities, suiting anyone who wants to spend some time resting at the property. The listing sleeps up to five, with bedding covering a double bed, sofa bed and Japanese futon bedding. I would first allocate everyone’s sleeping place, then check whether early and late sleepers disturb each other; groups where everyone wants a normal bed should compare splitting into separate rooms.

One Bedroom Plus Living Space — Choose by Actual Sleeping Places

The room type is one bedroom plus living space, and whether five people can stay comfortably depends on how the futon bedding and sofa bed sit once laid out, and where luggage goes. I would first keep a walkway clear in front of the bathroom and at the entrance, then decide whether spare bedding needs to be put away each night. The fridge and microwave can store drinks and heat takeaway food, so fellow travellers do not need to go out for every meal together.

Fujimicho 2-23, About 980 m from Peace Memorial Park

Naka-ku Fujimicho 2-23, Naka Ward, 730-0043 Hiroshima City, Hiroshima Prefecture, Japan

The apartment is at Fujimicho 2-23, and for arrival you can compare nearby bus routes and city transport towards Chuden-mae. Hondori Station is about 1 km on foot, about 15 minutes; with large luggage, I would first check the shuttle and building entrance, then plan the final walk. Peace Memorial Park is about 980 m on foot, and Nagarekawa Street about 510 m. I would visit the park and museum in the morning, follow with Hondori shopping in the afternoon, then head into the city centre in the evening for Hiroshima-style okonomiyaki or another restaurant, cutting down trips back to fetch things. To make dinner more concrete, you can follow Hondori shopping with Shintenchi Okonomimura; each shop’s opening arrangements differ, so I would pick a shop first, and not present dining near the apartment as recommendations from having eaten at every shop.

One Night Is About Check-In, Several Nights About Cleaning and Storage

For a short stay, first save the entry information and sleeping allocation so you can rest easily on arrival; for two nights or more, luggage and living items need to be tidied together. If five people keep similar hours and are willing to take turns using shared space, the apartment’s advantages stand out more.

How I Would Choose

If I want to stay together in Fujimicho and can accept a double bed, sofa bed and Japanese futon bedding, I would put First Hiroshima on the comparison list. Five people with similar hours, mainly out during the day, can coordinate this kind of shared living more easily; anyone who wants a normal bed each or to keep independent hours should look at other layouts instead.

Pros and Trade-offs to Accept

Pros I Value

  • Fujimicho location links Peace Memorial Park with city-centre dining.
  • Separate bedroom and living space.

Think Through Before Booking

  • Five people need to work around sofa bed, futon and other bedding arrangements.
  • When sharing, meal, bathroom and living times need coordinating.
